Application Process Summary

Applications undergo a thorough review to ensure alignment with our mission statement, community values and participation requirements. Applying to our co-operative does not guarantee you membership.  The Board of Directors will evaluate each application and make the final decision.   

To be considered for membership please ensure that:

1. You are a current resident of the Northwest Territories

2. Submit an Inukshuk Housing Co-operative Application Form via the online portal.

Paper copies are no longer accepted.

3. A copy of your photo ID

4. A reference letter from your previous landlord

5. Proof of employment which must include annual income.

If there is a co-applicant, they must also provide proof of employment and annual income. 

6. Pay the $75 non-refundable application fee.

If you are approved for membership, you are required to purchase one share of $3000 at time of signing your occupancy agreement plus the first month’s housing charge.
